SENCos – are you looking for support for sensory needs?
Are you striving to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all your pupils especially those with sensory processing needs?
Are you finding it difficult to access Occupational Therapy specialist support?
Discover how our School Sensory Solutions membership can empower your school to provide the best care and education for your pupils who have SEND or are neurodivergent.
Neurodivergent learners, particularly those with sensory processing difficulties often face significant barriers to learning, including difficulty concentrating, heightened anxiety, and challenges with social interactions. These issues can lead to lower academic performance and hinder their overall school experience.
Through the bespoke training created by Ali Neal, a children’s occupational therapist and advanced practitioner in sensory integration, you will not only enhance your knowledge and confidence, but you will also learn practical skills that you can apply in your classroom and school. In short you will become equipped to be a sensory champion for your school.
Struggling with sensory overload in class?
On the go all the time, unable to sit, attend and focus?
Finding it difficult to cope in busy noisy environments like assemblies or lunch times?
Having difficulty with transitions?
Getting even more dysregulated by breaks rather than regulated?
Struggling with fine and gross motor skills or independence skills like dressing or using cutlery?
Having difficulties with handwriting that usual teaching strategies do not help?
Hear the words sensory needs, sensory diet, sensory sensitivities, sensory lifestyle or sensory circuits but do not know what to do?
Want strategies to help you meet individual sensory needs whilst not neglecting the other pupils in your class?
Know that your school wants to help but is finding it difficult to get OT support?
Here’s how Schools Sensory Solutions can help
Our brand new membership will enable you to become a sensory champion for your school and take you from feeling ‘sensory scared’ to being ‘sensory prepared’.
The membership is run by Ali Neal, an Occupational Therapist with over 20 years of experience working with schools and creating sensory solutions that actually work in class.
Members will develop the skills to not only implement sensory strategies for pupils who have SEND or are neurodivergent, but also to understand the why, when, what and how.

The course … “helped me to think about how I can support others to gather their thought and evidence about a pupil, so that they can decide if specialist OT input is required and to demonstrate that it is justified”.

Ali…"Lovely manner, easy to listen to and understand. Would ask questions to make sure we all understood what she was explaining. Would answer any questions and link material to what we had available at school (loved the take a picture of the equipment you have). The aspect of if you had money these would be good pieces of equipment to buy was really useful and we have purchased the majority of the items to aid our delivery. Before this we did not know what the best pieces of equipment were”.
C Ford
The course was pitched at the right level and layman terms, Gave me a greater understanding of the equipment to use to achieve a green zone of regulation.

Membership may of course also be funded via the SEND budget.
Bonus: Join by 30th September to have a free twilight training on sensory processing challenges in the classroom for all staff. This is pre-recorded and lasts approximately 45 minutes.
The Individual and Foundation memberships are just for one person, but have you seen the Premium membership - it is just £299 for three of you! If more would like to join or perhaps you want to include your whole school or MAT the please email me for a price.
I know how restricted school budgets are and how schools simply don't have the financial resources they need. So consideration or costs was a really important factor. By offering a membership (as opposed to individual courses) I have been able to substantially reduce admin costs and I can pass this saving on to you.
I understand how busy educators are and how many needs you are juggling. School sensory solutions is a time efficient pathway to quality-first teaching and meeting SEN needs. The hybrid design of webinars and live Q&A sessions gives flexibility for busy schedules - watch when you want and when it is relevant to your pupil. Drip-fed content allows for pacing and reduces overwhelmed feeling of not knowing where to start.
For Premium and Group subscriptions yes you can - please email me on [email protected]
